  1. As an Exercise Physiologist I have found that bringing groups of workers together for a few minutes to complete a series of simple exercises stimulates all kinds of eureka moments. The key is in the conversations that take place; the jokes and anecdotes that are shared, the birthdays that are recognised and the opportunity to connect. Busy workplaces have limited opportunities for having fun. Exercising together is a legitimate excuse to prepare physically for the work to be done AND stimulates ideas and connections. As employers continue to grapple with the issue of injury prevention and productivity improvements, there will be a growing interest in programs that help to build a fit, health, creative workforce.
